The Cousino High School attendance area encompasses part of Warren and Sterling Heights, within Macomb County. Cousino is one of three high schools within the Warren Consolidated District. Warren Consolidated Schools is the eleventh largest district in Michigan with approximately 13,031 students. Cousino’s proximity to the GM Technical Center, the world’s largest auto research institute, and the satellite automotive and technical business nearby has focused the attention of the community on academic achievement, technological proficiency and career preparation. Warren is an industrial suburb bordering Detroit and is set amid the “Big Three” auto industry. Cousino High School enrolls approximately 1,350 students. Cousino is a public, co-education, comprehensive four-year high school accredited through the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools as well as the State of Michigan.
